CH#135
#135
Ā
What do you think of when you think of regular dinner at a study camp?
Although it varies depending on the environment, curry is probably the most standard.
Ā
The cooking process is simple and easy, and today was no exception as curry was served.
Shizuku and Kirasaka took the lead in cooking, while Miura was busy helping with minor tasks and washing dishes.
Ā
What were the boys doing? They were just sitting and watching the process.
I asked them if I could help them with something, but they just said, āDonāt move.ā
Ā
No, well, I understand.
Itāll be easier for a boy to not move rather than making extra troubles while trying to do something.
Ā
If it wasnāt me or Hino-kun, but a male student who wanted to showoff, he would certainly insist on helping.
But now that Iāve been told not to move, Iāll keep it in mind.
Ā
After all, I am a person who wants to live comfortably.
What a cool statement ā¦but it sounds pretty stupid.
Ā
I decided to talk to Hino-kun since I had nothing to do.
Ā
āHey there, Kouhai-kun howās it going lately?
Ā
āWhatās the matter with your way of talking? ā¦even if you say that youāre pretty happy isnāt it weird.ā
Ā
āAh, I see I seeā
Ā
End of conversation.
Now that Iāve said that, I canāt continue the conversation.
Ā
Conversation really is difficult.
Thereās a saying that conversing is like playing catch with words, but Iām good at throwing words one way and finishing them, or conversely, not being able to catch the words thrown at me.
Ā
Now I have nothing left to do.
All I could do was watch the girls cooking in front of me and admire their skillfulness.
Ā
Then, Shizuku noticed my gaze and turned her attention to me.
But she didnāt stop cutting the vegetables.
Ā
How can she cut the vegetables while looking at me?
If it were me, I would totally be cooking my own hands.
Ā
Minato-kunās simple recipe will turn into a grotesque cuisine.
Shizuku blushes a little and muttered in a small voice.
Ā
āMinato-kun, no, even if you give me a passionate gazeā¦ā
Ā
āNo, give me back my feelings of admiration!ā
Ā
When did I ever give you that kind of look?
Lately, her character seems to be blurring a lot, is it a sign that her true self is coming out?
Ā
However, there was one person who would not be silenced by her statement.
Ā
āDonāt misunderstand. Shinra-kun was looking at my back.ā
āThatās not true either!ā
Ā
Donāt talk to me like Iām looking at my fatherās back.
You both can just watch your backs if you want to.
(TL/N - ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ)
Ā
Itās not even funny.
The two of them exchanged glances as if they were fighting each other, but they still didnāt stop cooking.
Ā
Miura had gotten used to this environment, and while she sighed in exasperation, she didnāt intervene and went on with her own work.
Ā
The curry that was made under such circumstances looked wonderfully delicious.
When they had finished placing the curry in the seats where everyone was seated, president and Koizumi returned.
Ā
Ā
Ā
Ā
Ā
The only sounds in the room were the clinking of dishes and spoons, and minimal conversation.
Ā
The only conversation was about the taste of the curry, upcoming events, and other trivial matters.
It seemed as if everyone was trying to figure out how far they should go in asking questions about Koizumiās strange behavior.
Ā
It was Hino-kun, Miura, and even Shizuku who seemed to be somewhat concerned.
Kirasaka as usual remains unconcerned about the matter, but she didnāt bring up the matter, perhaps in consideration of the president, with whom she has a good relationship with.
In any case, it was a tasteless dinner, even though the food was excellent.
Ā
Ā
Ā
āThank you very much for the meal, weāll cleanup the mess since we couldnāt participate in the preparation.ā
Ā
āWell, why donāt you all go and work up first?ā
Ā
President and Koizumi told us.
Normally, I would have said that we would help, but I couldnāt say that now.
Ā
Iām sure president and Koizumi havenāt finished their conversation yet.
Ā
āWell, please do.ā
Ā
I left my seat and put the dishes in the sink before leaving the room.
The other four people left the room as well.
Ā
āWas it important?ā
Ā
As I walked down the already darkened hallway to the student council room where I had left my belongings, Hino-kunās question echoed in the hallway.
Miura didnāt answer, and those of us who didnāt know what it was couldnāt answer either.
Ā
While understanding this, Shizuku posed a question to me.
Ā
āWhat do you think, Minato-kun?ā
Ā
āā¦ā
Ā
The reason why I didnāt ask Miura here is probably because she wonāt tell me the answer.
Ā I felt that this was a question that I would like to get her opinion on, even if itās just her personal opinion.
Ā
āAt least itās not something we have anything to do with. President is explicitly making time for just the two of them, so itās definitely an issue concerning the student council.ā
Ā
It may be Koizumi who is directly involved.
However, I can predict that this is a story that has something more to it than just the student council.
Ā
Why were Shizuku and Kirasaka invited?
If it was really only a student council issue, it would have been held without inviting them.
Ā
But this time, they were invited.
If we assume that they are invited because they want to play some role or help, then the problem may be more troublesome than I imagine.
Ā
āā¦Tomorrow is going to be important.ā
Ā
Tomorrow is the second day.
If any action is to be taken, there should be at least a discussion tomorrow.
Ā
So, if thereās anything I can do today, itās to work on my assignments to the best of my ability, so that itāll be easier for me tomorrow.
